Here's my testimony:

Well about a year and a month ago I went to a youth rally on a Friday night. I was expecting to go home changed bu in a different way. I went in the service and sat down and began to worshiping and the preacher was about to speak. I had a headache which I assumed was from the loud music so I asked Annie for some medicine. I took it and sat in the back for the rest of the service. I went up to the alter for alter call for a few minutes and then I went out and layed down in the back of the fan while everyone else ate and had fun. When we got back to the church Candis told me to do a bunch of stuff that would help and said that I wasn't Rebekah today. I tried everything, nothing helped. I went to the emergency room twice because I was in so much pain and I was hospitalized for 3 days; That didn't work either. I went to a neurologist in Ann Arbor and I physical therapy; nothing worked.
About 2 weeks ago I went to a youth rally in Detroit and there were only 5 of us that went. I was pretty sick and told Nathan that I almost didn't go because I was so sick. He said something like may you get a double blessing because of your faithfulness. Well, I went, I couldn't sing and I could barely stop coughing long enough to hear the sermon but I went. We went home and on the way home I told Annie that my head didn't hurt anymore. I was healed. The Bible says in Matthew chapter 9 and verse 22:
But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said,
"Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well."
And the woman was made well from that hour.

When the doctors can't tell you whats wrong- God knows. When they can't help you-God can! I honestly believe that I was fighting the devil and he was not going to win. I was in so much pain and a lot of times I didn't feel like being at church but I went. Actually I went to church more in the last year. I didn't miss a service. The devil was not winning without a fight and thats what he did.
You have to not put your faith in doctor's but completely put your faith in God and he will heal you!

Welcome to the Journey, where we both are walking this road called life.

June 2010: The Journey.

I thought this would be a good series to start with for an intro to the blog.****

   Goals of this blog:

2. To bring you encouragement and insight

3. For me to learn from you on the thoughts that I post. Are they good? Bad? Insightful? Encouraging? Please bring feedback to the table and let me know!

4. To help me in my studying and reading of Biblical and non-Biblical exerpts.

****Note: Please forgive the lengths of some of my articles. Like I said in the goals, please give me feed back. I'm sorry they are a novel long. I'll try to keep them a modified length.*********
